Tired of the cosmetics jungle?

I was, I spent ages looking at all the different webshops looking for safe organic products.

That is very important to me because my fiancée Kristine is pregnant and I don’t want her to use products that can harm here and the baby.

Every day I spend about an hour researching different products and researching the effects of the dangerous ingredients, Do you know that even though a lot of the products that are CERTIFIED organic, they still have  have harmful ingredients that should have been banned 30 years ago?

I write and talk to people every day that just don’t feel there are any products that don’t have anything bad in them. They really are  hard to find.

I thought that the soil association and the eco-cert were really good read (the BEST) but I can still fault them.

I have looked into svanemærket and allergy friendly products too… only to find yet one more synthetic chemical…

Why can’t these companies use real “natural” ingredients such as aloe Vera, rose, lavender, and things like this instead of sodium lauryl sulphate (which they say is DERIVED from coconut…)
I am trying to help as many people as I can by blowing the whistle and telling you to look at the labels, research the ingredients and don’t accept this crap.

What are your thoughts on the subject?
How much do you know about this kind of stuff?
I would love to hear from you, it would be nice with some ideas of topics you might want to read about.
Have a  wonderful day!

  1. Hi Phil,
I just received your newsletter for the first time and read the horror stories about the chemical stuff that is put in our cosmetics. You have long lists of what causes what and it is very interesting. Is it possible that you could print a reference list to (scientific) research data confirming your statements. It's not that I don't believe you but "papir er taknemmeligt" as we say in Danish, so references to sources of research would make your statements more credible.

    Kind regards
